Dyslexia Evening - New Date Tuesday, 10th February 2009

Time: 6.00 - 7.00PM

Due to the 'Snow Event', the Dyslexia Evening scheduled for the 3rd February has been rearranged for Tuesday, 10th February 2009.

Parents are very welcome to join us, if they suspect their child may be dyslexic, or just to learn a little more about the condition. If you require further details, please contact teacher Lisa Mahony.

Wednesday, 25th February - 9.00AM - Adult Children’s Literature Club
Launch of book club for mums, dads, grandparents. At this book club we will be reading children’s books so that we can keep abreast of our children’s reading. This is separate to our Herne Book Club which is run outside school wher we read adult’s books. Come along to find out more. Lisa Mahoney will also be talking about how literacy is taught throughout the school.

James Didcott will be talking about how Numeracy is taught throughout the school.
Wednesday, 22nd April – 9.00AM
Emma Godson will be talking about the use of massage and pressure points for children. Come along to find out more!
Wednesday, 13th May – 9.00AM - Walking Group
This morning we intend to go for a walk around Crowborough, finding out more about its local history.
Wednesday, 17th June – 9.00AM
Come along and join us for an arts and crafts morning, led by Cathy Cherry. Come and discover the artistic you!
Wednesday, 15th July – 9.00AM
Come and help us celebrate summer and the end of term with a cream tea!

Walking Bus
Be a 'driver' or 'conductor' on the Walking Bus: Children walk to school safely and arrive on time, increasing exercise and reducing traffic congestion and co2 emissions.

Bus runs: 8.25 AM Monday to Friday, rain or shine.
